Many of us give out share lines that we hope to get in return some good shares and sometimes this is not the case and we just get rubbish. I have found that with a little bit of tidy up (i know some people are very lazy and still not even blocking HD on sky UK after 3 years ) that you can make the percentage of the shares a little bit better and if we all did it, it may help even more!

This is very important to reduce Bandwidth and clean up Multics Cache so Duplicate cache isn't Circulated unnecessarily.

Lets say we have Multics and Multics1 on IP address 192.168.1.45
You want to share Cache with me. I have 3 Multics servers ALL with the same Cache
I issue 3 Cache Peers to you
CACHE PEER: myserver.ip.org 1111 1
CACHE PEER: myserver.ip.org 1112 1
CACHE PEER: myserver.ip.org 1113 1

you issue me with 2
CACHE PEER: yourserver.ip.org 1111 1 (Multics1)
CACHE PEER:...

For Members with more than 1 Multics Server on the same Server/IP address

Hello everybody.
I have created a tool to convert NLINES from MCS into READER to OSCAM.
This is a first version. Only 1h30 of work.
If you think that it's good and need to evolve say me and i will develop this tool for add more protocol and options.

cache filter?

is there a way to filter cache for only profile we need?

i know in lines we share we can do the profile= part

can we do the same in cache?

example:

cache peer: 127.0.0.1 4000 { profile= 9000 }

1-I would like to discuss what is the best method of exchange and put pros and cons:

Peer cache Do not Or better C to C? CSP? CacheEX?

2-Is it better a multics only with cache peer or other types of cache that pass that cache to a multics "main" that has the rest of configuration?

That is to say vps (1) with a multics for only cache (it would only have configured cache peer) and VPS (2) with multics with all the configuration of server, newcamd, cccam and VPS (1) (2)

Or do I mix it all...

Multics disconnects automatically after an amount of time.why?!

Hello,
Lately, i am experiencing some trouble with multics but faced it also with oscam in the past.
While watching some channels multics cccam disconnects automatically after 7 minutes and reconnects again. Why does ths happen?! This happens also at oscam too.

Zapping Time

Hello All,

Hoping someone can help me. For some reason the Zapping time for channels is high and I'm not sure what setting to change to reduce it.

If someone could please point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it. Its for CAID 1841 if that helps.

Update cccam over USB

I would like to update the cccam lines of a decoder via USB. That is, I would like to create a .bin file to go to the menu and update via USB and update, add or create ccam lines.

It's possible? What would you need to create .bin? Any program for it?

UPDATE 09-03-2015
FIRST YOU NEED TO INSTALL APACHE & PHP :

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install apache2
sudo apt-get install php
sudo apt-get install php5-curl
sudo service apache2 restart

- add your cfg files in /var/etc/files/
EXcache.cfg
EXCccam.cfg...

Looking for a script to ban all Ips that are not in my server.

Hello guys,
Just searched the forum for any kind of script regarding iptables bad scripts to ban all ips that are not in my peer list.
Does that even exist? I want to do that because i share with people and after sometime they remove me but unfortunately still connected at my line so i want to ban them all, too many. Hope that could lower cpu usage too.

Any help is appreciated.

I have tried many of them and they don't work.

I have ubuntu 64 bit

I only want to know it from the people who have theirs already working/tested.

Hello,
Here i have prepared a script for everyone that keeps starting a thread because MultiCS goes off continuously .
I have attached the file . Just put it in root/home and give permissions 755.
Than Done! Do a test for experimental use, by turning off your Multics and it will start again itself after 60seconds.
EDIT: Adedd a new file that will help first script to restart multics automatically after it goes off....

Hello guys, last months i was trying this patch and for me make a HUGE diference, it improve the ping and the conexion speed.

Basically is noticiable for our peers and clients, you give better ping = more change of instant hit.

Google BBR is a TCP congestion control algorithm that can give a huge speed boost on networks with high packet loss.

Install Google BBR using the commands below (another teddysun script).

Script to check multics cpu usage

Some times I saw that multics cpu stock on %100 usage so
here is a small script to check the cpu usage of multics and kill it if it goes too high :
you can use it to check memory or virtual memry too
just change the $3 in first line to $4 or $5 .

dont forgeet to change the path for your setup !!!
